low approach
i. An approach over an airport or a runway following an instrument approach procedure or VFR (visual flight rules) approach, including the overshoot maneuver, where the pilot does not make a contact with the runway and goes around from a very low height.
ii. An approach which is well below the specified glide path and its continuation is likely to result in the aircraft touching short of the touchdown point.
